Addis Ababa Bole International Airport Arrivals Service information
Our Customer Relation Officers greet all arriving Ethiopian Airlines passengers and direct them to the Passport Control and Baggage Claim area, or the transit exit for connecting passengers.
To enter Ethiopia, nationals of those countries that are granted visas on arrival must check with the Airport Immigration Office. Everyone else must bring their entrance visas and go through the Passport Control Counters.
For a list of countries that are eligible for visa-on-arrival, go here.
Passengers can examine the big screen display while waiting for passport clearance to see which belt they can claim their luggage at.
Ethiopian Airlines operates a Customer Service Desk and Office in the Baggage Claim Area that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our Customer Service Agents are available to assist you if your luggage is lost or damaged.
Ethiopian Customs has two channels: Green and Red. Be aware, however, that your luggage and handbag will need to pass through the Baggage X-Ray machine.
